What's with all the fru fru? All you needed right there was a plain * or a ". Digital painting is just as complicated as traditional painting. How is it bad coloring? I colored it in fine. Maybe a few lines were a bit crooked, but atleast there were outlines there period. I liked those colors, and I thought they fit her. I'm no good at backgrounds. JPEGs aren't fuzzy, it's just the brush I use. What's a POS?

you did not color it in fine. you see the white lining in between those eye raping colors and the lines? that's just plain lazy. the fact that you've blown the image up to what looks like twice its native resolution AND lined it choppily with a brush shows that you don't understand any more about bases than the people you're ragging on.
jpegs and jpgs can indeed be fuzzy depending on the compression, which causes otherwise crisp, clean pixellated lines to become fuzzy (you can see it in that pic all around the lines). this is why most people opt for png or high quality gif formats to save bases on so they don't have that ugly, unprofessional fuzz.

Now that I go back and look at it, it does look kinda bad. Bleh. This is why I don't like recoloring. Also, I don't usualy choose bright vibrant colors. I only used them to point out the different colors. If you count, you can tell there is five different colors besides black and white. Yes, I did enlarge it. I just got this tablet a few weeks ago so I'm not very good at getting things to look nice and clean and not sketchy.
I usually save the quality at 12, but I'm not sure if that ever helps. Again, the brush I use causes stuff to look kinda fuzzy sometimes, so I'll try and break my habit of automaticly choosing that one. I did not know that png was high quality, and all I knew about gifs is that they can make simple animations or something. Thank you for educating me on this. Also, I'm not a proffesional. Why would I expect my art to be worth a million bucks?

Oh yeah, Original Characters and Fancharacters are not the same, though a Fancharacter can be original, and a OC can be used as a fancharacter, and rarely vice versa.
