I hardly ever looked at Cheer...I remember liking the Wotch, though...at least, up to that hiatus. What happened to Cheer, anyway?

Oh, the usual... you get older and more invested in life and career, you start missing updates, then missing more updates... eventually you hit a difficult part of the story to draw and lose all motivation to put in the dozens of hours per page it took. Β Weeks turn into months which turn into years and then the comic is pretty much dead. Β It's sad to think about, but not so sad that I've been able to pull up my pants and jump back in to the hordes of work that even a weekly comic can be.

I didn't actively take the site down, but neither did I do anything to keep it running. Β So it's current status is certainly my fault, though through negligence rather than choice.

Did you end up taking the site down? I cannot seem to access it for some reason, just found out about your comic from a crossover from SailorSun and was interested in the tidbits that google made me see.

yea well the story act is kind of stuck, so why not just do what others have done. End it.
Skip to the next day with everything resolved without answering why.
We more or less have an idea about how the day will end anyway, so there is no need to over-explain it.
