I love star wars, and the burning city-scape is just awesome, I've only read a few of the series set after the First Civil War, but I keep hearing about some aliens capturing coruscant... I'm assuming that's the idea behind the sig?

Not to spoil the story for you, but yes. It's a described vision of Coruscant in the future and the sig was definitely meant to capture what would happen then. ^^

yeah, I like sci-fi stuff, but I also like several High Fantasy pics. I'm currently looking for a pic of a fantasy city which is similar to one I've created for a book i'm writing, so far nothing comes close

I'm in Liverpool, Bristol is down south right?
I'm just looking though loads of sci-fi and Fantasy stuff to help illustrate some stuff in RPs. I'd draw myself if I had ay sort of artistic talent, but I can barely draw stick-men so... Meh, but I enjoy looking at stuff that talented people draw, and content myself with a slight twinge of envy...

Bristol is directly south from you (with Wales between)... a bit far.
Being able to draw isn't something that magically happens.... I think everyone draws as a kid... then they see something done by a pro with 30 years experience and instantly give up. Like anything, if you spend serious time doing a hobby you turn around one day and find you're actually good at it.
thanks for the additional Favs BTW

you're welcome. And perhaps I shall again try my hand at drawing, maybe one day i'll even become passable, but then I can never keep my hands steady enough for it to work... Meh, I have something called Dyspraxia, but it's not too bad.

I don't have a steady hand either (epilepsey)... my work is done on the PC because it allows me to rub-out perfectly

I see, in that case can you recommend any good artistic programs? 'cos all I have is paint, which I despise.

personally I use Photoshop CS4 with a drawing tablet.... that isn't a cheap option. I would suggest the free program 'Gimp' or Photoshop elements. a drawing tablet is still pretty much essential. There is a saying 'drawing with a mouse is like drawing with a soap-on-a-rope'
but don't just go spending money.. find something local and give it a try first
