Thanks for the thoughtful comment on my self-portrait. I actually had never seen Freud's paintings, so when I Googled him, I saw what you meant. Very strong highlights and shadows, strong facial features, yes there are similarities! I really appreciate thoughtful feedback like yours, thanks again.

you're welcome, glad I could help, I really enjoy traditional painting, although I have only posted digital art on deviant, I have many acrylic paintings myself, I think I will post them in the near future
