There is a crossover fanfiction named Fallout:Equestria, that takes place in the setting of My Little Pony after a similar war, including their equivalent to atomic bombs.

While it doesn't involve humans, or Earth in any way, many of their readers also enjoy the Fallout series, and some develop an interest after reading the fanfic.
