Arlo and Haven strolled throughout Andalusst on this dark and stormy night (how situationally ironic!). They were on their way to try out a new bakery shop opened down the road from their dormitories, and delegated that a visit would be required post-hast.
"This place better be worth walking two city blocks!" Haven stated, revealing his discomfort.
"Relax, man. It's not that far," Arlo replied.
"Try it with an eighty pound carapace, then say that again."

Yasu and Seiko turned a corner and Yasu walked right in Arlo. She stood up and glance downΒ
".... Sorry" Yasu said akwardlyΒ
Seiko tried to hold in laughter "Nice going Yasu"
Yasu glared at Seiko "Seiko ...." She mumbled

"Hey! Watch it! Can't you see we're eager for pastries!?" Arlo said, fuming.
"Chill, dude! We don't know the story here. Let's figure out who these young ladies are!" Haven said in a friendly, yet somewhat cautious manner.
"Who are you two?" Alro inquired, seemingly recovered from his brief albeit scary bout of rage.

The pawniard glance back at them "I'm Yasu and the lampent is Seiko" She stated plainlyΒ
The lampent looked at them unimpressed "Wow i'm terribly so-"
Yasu turned back at her glare and cutting her off then turning back to Arlo and Haven "And who are you two?"

"I'm Haven, and this is my partner Sanford." the Shelgon said, gesturing towards his fighting type friend. Arlo looked bewildered.
"Whoa, whoa WHOA. Hold your horses. I'm not your 'partner'. I'm your teammate. Big difference!" Arlo said, accusingly poking his finger into Haven's lower shell.
"And this matters why?"
"Because... it... ummm..."
"Let's change the subject," the Dragon-type said, cutting off his friend, "Mind telling us what you guys are doing out here so late at night?"

"We we're on a trail of a thief. Until you guys showed up!" Seiko crossed her arms "that and I don't really sleep being a ghost type and all"Β
"Sorry about Seiko, she's like that until she knows you" Yasu glance at her teamate "Why would a pastry shop be open at this time?"

"They just opened," Haven stated, "And we wanted to check them out!" He jumped a little bit at the notion of sinking his teeth into a cheri turnover. Arlo seemed interested in other things, however.
"A thief, huh? What's he look like? Maybe we've seen him," the Hitmonlee said, genuinely curious. It seemed he was craving some action.

"Well he's a shiny Pancham" Seiko murmured "You'll know if you see him"
The pawniard noticed the bakery "Is that it?"Β

Haven glanced past Arlo and realized the small Dark type was indeed correct.Β
"Awww, dude! We almost missed it! C'mon, let's go! Do you guys want to come with us?" Haven asked eagerly, pushing the group in the Bakery's direction.
"Oh yeah. I'm ready to get my BAKE on!" Arlo said, ecstatic.

Seiko looked at the bakery with awe "Of Course ... erm I mean Fine" the lampent went towards the bakery "Hurry up, or i'll call you all slowpokes"
Yasu rolled her eyes and caught up with the teammateΒ

They entered the bake shop, eager to satisfy their hunger pangs. A middle aged Shiftry stood at the counter, and various customers milled about the area.
Haven inhaled dramatically, then exhaled equally so.
"DUDE! I am so pumped! I'm getting a whole Oran Yache Pie for myself! What about you, Arlo?"
"Those Cheri Turnovers look pretty darned good."
They approached the counter and placed their orders.

Seiko glanced around looking at all the pastry's "what are you going to get Yasu, I don't know what i'm getting all of these pastry's look so good"Β
Yasu shrugged "I agree they all look quite satisfying"

After paying for their items, the Undaunted patiently awaited the other team, while stuffing their faces with crust and filling.Β
"Dude," Haven said, spewing crumbs from the inside of his shell.
"Dude," Arlo said, reciprocating.Β
The meal was indeed one of the best they had ever had. Unfortunately, what they did not realize was the presence of their shadowy onlooker just out of view...

The two bought some goods and walked over to themΒ
"Alright we're done, so now what?" Seiko askedΒ

"Well, maybe we should-" Haven cut himself off before he could finish his thought. Arlo noticed this abruptness.Β
"What's wrong, dude?"
"We're being WATCHED, man!" he half whispered, half screamed.

Yasu looked at HavenΒ
Seiko looked around and found them "There!" She pointed

As Yasu and Seiko approached, Arlo and Haven looked at them warningly in unison, doing their best to alert them of the mysterious stranger.

The figure was shrouded in darkness, so the four couldn't quite tell who it was. Haven and Arlo cautiously continued eating their pastries.

The light from Seiko's flame dimly revealed their stalker to be the Pancham that Seiko and Yasu had been looking for! Haven and Arlo dropped their pastries is utter disbelief.Β

Seiko glared at the pamncham and used Overheat "Your not getting away this time!" Seiko growled
Yasu went behind the PanchamΒ

Haven and Arlo quickly readied themselves in a battle stance, and awaited directions from Seiko and Yasu.

Yasu nodded towards them letting them know to attack
Seiko noticed the Pancham tried to escape again. She growled and used Confuse Ray

The Pancham's attempt at flight was completely unsuccessful as the Confuse Ra hit its mark, leaving the small bear Pokemon in a daze.
Seeing the opportunity, Haven and Arlo nodded at each other knowingly before heading into the fray.
Haven elected to fire off a blazing Dragonbreath while Arlo attempted a Pursuit attack on the fleeing Pancham. The combined forces of the blaze and the Hitmonlee knocking the wee Pokemon off of its feet sent it flying backwards, and it appeared as though the Pancham was burned from the fiery wrath of the Shelgon's Dragonbreath attack.

As the Pancham tried to stand Seiko tried to finish it off with a Shadow ball but stopped when her partner stood in front of the wounded Pancham.

Arlo and Haven halted their attacks. What could be happening?

"Seiko we need him in one piece" Yasu tole her
"Fine, don't let me have any fun" Seiko turned and walked away from Yasu

Haven and Arlo glared at the Pancham. How would they take down the lonely fighting type?

Yasu sighed and turned toward the Fighting type "Can one of you two go and get Seiko please I need to bring him to the guild"Β

"Sure thing," Haven said, and headed towards Seiko. Meanwhile, Arlo assisted Yasu with the capture of the Pancham.
