Germany had just come out of a meeting with his boss and didn't exactly know what to do now. who knew where Italy was and Japan was with his boss too. he had his back to the girl so didn't know of her being there yet

Alisa had just arrived home from her brothers' birthday party. after Arthur getting drunk, Japan taking pictures, and America arriving with a vibrantly colored cake, she finally had made her way home. It was late when the taxi dropped her off (she had walked to her brothers party in heels on the way there, and she would rather die than to walk all the way back) and walked up to the front door. she reached into her pocket, to find that unfortunately she had forgotten the key. she knocked on the door. "please be home..." she mumbled to herself.

the german had fallen behind with work a bit. he'd grumbled a bit about it before just sitting down and getting on with it. he had wondered where Alisa had gone when he had come home until he remembered Arthur's party, it was his birthday.
Ludwig sighed as he wrote up another report before leaning back in his chair and rubbed his hand as it had started to ache. that's when he heard the knock at the door. Germany pushed his chair out and walked out, grabbing his keys from his jacket before going to the door and checking the peek hole then opening it "Alisa, how vas zhe party?" he asked with a smile and allowed his wife in

"It was...interesting." Alisa replied, taking a moment on thinking how to describe the party. she kissed him on the cheek, setting her bag down on the chair nearby. "America brought the cake, which Japan was fascinated by and he started taking pictures. France and England started fighting, America cheered them on, japan started taking pictures of that.... so basically it was like a world meeting. oh and i also forgot my keys here." she explained.

he gave a light chuckle at the end of the scott's explanation and closed the door before moving some red hair from her face "zhat sounds like vhat vould happen" he gave Alisa a sweet kiss on the lips and looked to the side where she had left her keys "ah, i didn't realise vhen i came in" he rubbed the back of his head "how vas England? you know, vith his economy" he asked. he didn't really want to say about Scotland's independence, that must be really hard on the youngest brother

Alisa smiled. "If yer wondering about the relationship between Arthur and I with me trying to gain independence he is still very reluctant about letting me go. " she told him as if it seemed like she had read his thoughts. " but I'm still very confident on becoming a nation of my own. Although we didn't talk about it much at the party considering he was almost always taking care of something else today..."

Germany just shook his head and closed then door then went into his kitchen to get a glass of water. after that he went up the stairs and knocked on the door, not knowing how the american would usually sleep plus he was drunk
