Haha no problem! It's always nice to know that you've pushed- I mean, encouraged people into doing more art.
Right now, I only have a digital camera but not a tradional, so it kinda suck that I can't do any other type of styles in photography. Sure, I can do loads of other stuff in Photoshop/Adobe/etc., but I'm a pretty lazy ass so it's gonna take some time before I actually get up to do something.
Jeez I know how you feel when you first get on dA. It takes you about half a year before you finally find out what the "Zoom In" button means. *rolls eyes*

P.S. Just on the side note: when I first saw the picture, I had to check whether I heard/saw your username before somewhere; it looked *that* professional.

Well... As I'm new one here you couldn't hear of me anywhere, because I have never shown this stuff to anyone. It's a kind of debut Ususally I use a nickname "Blackraven", but when it came to registering here I recieved a message that it is already taken by someone So I came up with a shorter form - less writing I have chosen DA because people here are really helpful - I've looked through many sites of the kind and the comments people give to each other. Most of them were like: "Nice" or "Shitty". The point is that if the picture is REALLY shitty, then people here tell you also why All in all - I like the way the site works, the only problem is inserting the devious desktop and ID - whenever you submit it, it is placed in the gallery along with the photos, and makes a mess I hope they'll fix that. Acutally, the reason I came to dA was because my friend had an account, and was getting *rather* pissed at me hogging her account the whol time, so FINALLY I got my own, and I was really surprised at how open people were with each other. I guess it comes with the whole anonymity (I spelled that wrong didn't I?) package, but this site really IS a great place to boost up your confidence and improve on your work.

The spelling is just prefect I think you're right - all in all because of the anonymity I decided to bring my stuff to the sunlight. Even that few people appreciated what I'm doing, I still feel weird when it comes to showing the pictures to, for example, friends. I often have feelings that the titles are silly (Maybe they really are? What do you think? Maybe I should leave 'em out?) or the photo was made not in the way I wanted. The second point you made is another one that I agree with - it IS possible to improve the skills here. Watching other people's works gives a lot of ideas and shows many interesting techniques that might be worth to learn in future.

Exactly! If people don't like your work or whatever, you can just tell them to fuck off (and other stuff...hahar) and just keep on doing your stuff. And anyways, I always think that whataver you do is up to you; appreciate your commenters advice, but it's your decision whether you're gonna change it or not.

Thx for the advice. I only wanted to know the opinion of somebody objective. All in all it is good to have kind of "point of reference" (hope you have such saying in your language), that allows you to create specific preferations of what is good and what's not. Because of this you can become better in doing something and avoid going deeper and deeper in copying the same mistake all the time

Uh, sorry to break your bubble, but acutally English *is* my first language...sorry! But no, I'm not English/American. I was just brought up in a English speaking school. (I can speak other languages as well though.)
Haha thanks for you comment on my gallery! I used to have ZILCH deviations until a few weeks ago where I finally got off my fadass and did something. (even then most of the pictures aren't mine; they're my friends. Their usernames are given with whatever pictured they took; check out their stuff sometime.)
