# About me

Julio E. Jácome Paz.

Self-taught Illustrator.

Admirer and always learning of the great exponents of the Golden era of illustration of the nineteenth century, as well as the pioneers of the comic and legendary illustrators of science fiction and fantasy covers of the century XX.

Always inspired by the traditional analog art and craftsmanship that involves an illustration work, it has been dedicated to perfecting a versatile style using ink in different techniques. Graduated from the music career at the University of Guadalajara, he maintains his activities and learning as a musician and illustrator.

“Don’t copy things from photos or real life. Look at them. See them. Digest them, rebuild them in your brain and draw your own version of them. They might not be accurate, but the important thing is that they seem accurate.”
