Welcome to DA!
It looks like some people got here before I did! Still, I'd like to give you a couple pointers that may help.
1. Join some groups! There are groups for anything and everything, from fan clubs to literature to welcome wagons! They are simple to join, and some even host contests that you can win some cool stuff.
2. See if you can collab with someone! This is a fun one. Sometimes an artist is looking for someone to collaborate with, whether it's a sketch, concept, colouring or line art. Sometimes, people will put out line art that anyone can colour. This can get you more notoriety and put your stuff out there!
3. Enter contests! This somewhat goes back to groups, but some don't require you to be a part of one. Even if you don't win, you still put your work in a more public place. This can help you get followers and favourites on your stuff.
