nice figs. dont worry, there are plenty of people who can appreciate your minis as art. miniature painting is quite difficult to do well and takes lots of practice so anyone who says it's not art is ignorant

Nice Spriggan! I think you pulled off the red color scheme very well. I am not sure if I care for the mixed base of grass and snow. I think you would have been better served by going one way or the other. The white would have been far more complementary to the pose and color design you chose as well.

You've done some nice, solid painting here. I really wish that I could see the details on these, because what I can see so far looks really well-done. As for the troll claiming that your work is not art, she is obviously too close-minded to discover for herself what great artists know: real art is a fine-tuned balance of play and discipline, and assembling and painting WARMACHINE minis requires both. Having only recently gotten into the game this past year, I know that I have many long hours ahead of me kit-bashing and painting, and the skills that I fine-tune while working on my minis can only help me in my pursuit of of other forms of art. Indeed, miniature painting as a discipline is of greater value to my art overall than some of the art classes I've taken.

This is excellent work. Never forget that miniature painting is not only a hobby, but art; art is an expression of the individual's thought and opinions; take Dada for example.

dude-dude-dude!!! i need to know: do you actually make these, or just construct them from a box? because i've been trying to find someone who actually knows how to make/cast toys and stuff.
...but if you just construct these from a box...then you make me very sad, because piecing together stuff from a box is not art, no matter how you slice it.
