It's difficult to get up to London mid-week (and on the 15th I was hosting an 'open-evening' at my printshop), but I may soon be moving up to London, so I'd definitely be up for it then. I've started doing some more abstract art again, but definitely need to regain some life-drawing proficiency.

Oooh! I've heard of Dr Sketchy's, and I think I saw some article on it. Sounds much more enticing than the rather dry life drawing classes I've done in the past.
Very much looking forward to seeing your big comic! Pspynett is also working on a big comic at the moment, but all digital (parts already up on her DA page).

I got a bit frustrated with the Life Drawing classes that I was doing at the Arts Institute (I did about eight terms). I kept coming across techniques or styles that intrigued me, and would have to loved to refine over a few weeks, but the teacher (who was otherwise very good), was continually moving on to different techniques. So I was thinking about trying to find other life drawing classes where they just provided a model, and style and technique was just down to me.

Next time we go, I'll let you know, if you want to give it a try. The emphasis is definitely on fun over perfect anatomy.

The album is so amazing-super. I think the best tracks are 'Hilf Mir' and 'Mann Gegen Mann' but all of the rest are excellent too. Benzin rocks! I'd recommend it to everybody, even to small children, my grandfather and lost tribes of the Amazon. That's how much I love the album.
I still need to buy CDs because I don't have an mp3 player and I can't get my head around how to burn CDs yet. Wah.
