# About me
I am an author and poet. I've had this account since my youth, so it contains things of lower quality than I might produce today. I enjoy blending the rhythm of poetry with the narrative of prose, as I think it makes a story easier to digest, and can keep the reader's attention long enough to get away with taking one's time with development or exposition.# Comments

Why have you contacted me? Who are you, and what do you know?
(Also, hello.)

I have contacted you because you are sitting on a rift in the time-space continuum and I may be your only hope for survival.
I know absolutely everything. Well almost. Well, when I say "almost.."
I am no one important.
I mean okay fine, I understand that I am just one of your many followers and am not a constant presence in your life, but still....

I didn't know that I had followers; I don't exactly post anything worth following, after all.
But thank you for being here, I'm so happy to know that you exist! So what's up?

Don't be so critical of yourself. I am always happy to you on dA and always happy to see when you have posted something.
I am sitting here watching Doctor Who reruns(in case you couldn't tell that already). Rewatched the whole "new" series, getting ready for the 50th anniversary special and the new Doctor.
Other than that, not much. You?

I suppose I'm not doing much, either. But what of my stuff do you like? I don't post much, and what I DO post is a bit varied, so knowing what people like would help me to better please what audience members I have.

I could swear we've had this conversation before. hmm... perhaps not.
A lot of people want to know which pieces of theirs the followers like most. I rarely have favourites. I follow people because I like what they have and who they are.

Usayasha In reply to Gallagher1454 [2013-06-16 02:37:41 +0000 UTC]
Yes, but I imagine that your feelings on my poems and your feelings on my parody songs differ, yes? It's not necessarily which piece as it is which pattern. I aim to please, but if I can't have the coordinates than the direction would be nice to have.
People change, and I'm going to change. If I can get any input on what I should change into, it'd certainly be appreciated, regardless of whether or not it is adhered.

Well... you could be more sexy.
just joking.
I like pieces which show that you as an artist are not afraid to experiment and push yourself outside your comfort zone. Obviously, my personal preference is for text, but lyrical, poetic and prose balance nicely.

Usayasha In reply to Gallagher1454 [2013-06-16 02:54:15 +0000 UTC]
I see. So you have a balanced preference for text based pieces, especially those that have shown to have had some amount of effort put into them. This is good; I'd be quite happy to do that.
My main talent is in the written word, after all, and I want to increase said talent, so working on this area would do me well.

I try to be whatever I want. And right now, I want to be a good person, a good writer, and a detective. Since the first part is subjective, and the last part will be sorted out over the course of my career, I'll mainly focus on the writer part.

Sounds good.

No thank you, I'm not quite into the mystery genre yet. I just want it for a career.

If you did you might seem vain and arrogant.
I like the sense of your work, and the potential that it shows.

If this were the middle ages, my family would have all been killed. Mostly, it is some of the women. My great grandmother, an aunt, a cousin... All rather clairvoyant. I am the only guy in the family with any aptitude for it. I get freaky premonitions and stuff.
Also, when people meet me, they tend to fall into an instant routine with me, like I have always been a part of their life. That may not sound strange, but it really is.

Being able to subconciously invoke a sense of familiarity, and having premonitions. Nifty Both clairvoyance and emotional manipulation are fairly common among women, that's for sure. Maybe you have a lot of estrogen and/or Yin energy, and are therefore feminine enough to access abilities associated with Yin.
There's probably something in your ancestry that lends itself to these types of things, and people too low on Yin (I use Yin/Yang when explaining this stuff, because it works best, but other terms work too.) can't utilize them properly. It's pretty nifty, though. Are you proud of these abilities? Any others you have?

Gallagher1454 In reply to Usayasha [2012-04-24 23:12:07 +0000 UTC]
There are other abilities that I don't generally talk about.
I am sort of proud of it. Most people look at me kind of weird when I pull stuff like that. A gay too... *lol* so many people would burn me.

Not nowadays, they wouldn't. Things are much better than they used to be.
And I can only see them getting better.
(Your homosexuality probably contributed to being able to use your power. After all, male homosexuality usually manifests in people with high concentrations of estrogen and certain genes that can be acquired through the m-DNA of the mother during pregnancy. This means that you could be considered close enough to a female for your power to likewise manifest itself. Not that you needed the homosexuality to be feminine enough, but I can't imagine that it hurt, and it at least is an indication that certain parts of you consider you feminine enough for certain attributes to manifest, which might include your powers. Then again, magic is spiritual, not physical, so the body doesn't make all of the decisions. But the physical informs the spiritual, and vice versa, so it was certainly a factor.)

So remind me; how do I know you?
All I've found is that you complimented me once, but I get the feeling that we probably know each other in other ways.
Do you have any magical or supernatural powers?

Yeah, I get played like a fiddle all too often when I believe people without proof.
But I've also met some pretty awesome people as a result, so I figure I can take the losses.
So what are you?

No, but I'm currently turning various characters of mine into Sims characters, to get a feel of how they look and what traits I may have overlooked.
Also, I got you one of the books you asked for. But I only managed to find one.
