cool, I somehow thought that you might like them too, and maybe you should also check out some of john frusciante's solo records, as they are incredibly good as well ;) (Wink) .

btw, I just saw that you are an art teacher, which is funny, because right now I am waiting to get an access to a german university of fine arts, also with an emphasis in painting :) (Smile)

I did get some of the solo albums. Although there were tons, so I just got a few to start with. I thought of some bands you might like. You may already have them. One is a local band from Louisville that toured a lot in Germany, Elliott. They are also friends of my husbands, but amazing. "False Cathedrals" is their best album. If you like hardcore Statue "Filter the Injection". A little more like the side projects you like Sunny Day Real Estate "Diary" and The Fire Theft. And around the same time as Fugazi is Split Lip "For the Love of the Wounded", JeJune "Junk" and Jawbox.
Anyways good luck on getting in school. That is awesome. Are you going to try to be a teacher or an artist? Or you could be like me and try to be both. I don't know how things are in Germany, but I love my job, so hopeful you will have the same luck.
