I just found mine searching for icons to fit da and found a character named onion... -_- while you got yours from a friend.... then again I had just joined so I did not know anyone who could give me one, actually the one I wanted was a perfect fit but had to many mb

Pageviews are fleeting, they come, they increase in number and then gather dust - what matters is the art you produce, that should be reward in itself, dA allows you to get feedback on your work, that's all it should be, not some popularity contest.

I know. That's why I joined dA in the first place *sweat drop*. But then I started to try and draw which looked crappy at first but then I kept practicing and it started to look nb. but the dude doesn't even have any faves >.<

art IS all about popularity. we showcase our work on DA in an attempt to reach a wider audience. for some, they get what they wished for but for most, our work will remain in the inner depths the internet where no one will acknowledge the existence of the artist.

People just have things they want to share,
