The student loan system is the solution to prevent massive brain drain and losing a major part part of the labor force. (because most are too stupid to come to the conclusionthat they should get education elsewhere and never return)

I think I remember reading a similar story. America has been good at shooting itself in the foot when it comes to rules and regulations for its economy. You want to see a real basket case you have to go no farther than California. That's a picture of America Kim Jong Un would have fun showing his people about how great life is in America. Most of them are drug addicts so there's really nothing that can be done to stop them from shitting everywhere aside from locking them up.
Hyper individualism, lack of ideology, lack of motivation, feminism, and other factors led to the problem so it cannot be solved without a huge cultural change that will eventually bring about an authoritarian government. The masses needs to decide if liberty is indeed worth sacrificing for security and stability.
