I feel your pain, maybe you could try looking at other people's art and look closely at the hands. I could recommend just opening your art program and trace hands, I'd start out with cartoony ones then try realistic, afterwords try to draw them with what you traced as a reference, now don't go posting this claiming it's yours or start tracing full time, just the hands so you can get used to drawing them, then try to draw hands without a reference or tracing, this might take awhile but it pays off.
Though as for anatomy I can't help you much, all I can say is practice I guess, or possibly before you draw take a picture of you or a family doing the pose you want, maybe get a wooden model doll, I have one though I don't use it much, it can really help!
