My best advice to you is to find someone whom you can share your life and ideas with, a friend. I've found someone and he's probably the closest friend i have in life.

yeah, a friend...never had one. Any ideas?

At 24 years old, I can honestly say my closest and longest friendship ended when I stayed back in second grade. Sinse then I haven't had friends, seriously, not anyone. No hanging out no inviting over no phone calls, ever. Nothing.

So suggestions are welcome!

I know so many things, that I do not feel...and feel so many things that I know aren't real.
It's nearly maddening at times, but insanity and depression are things I do not want to ever visit again.

I can't help you there; the only reason i have a friend is because he walked up to me three years ago and was not aware that i played the guitar. That started everything. I shared only one class with him at the time. Odd, but that is how i want to meet someone, with them coming to me and taking an interest. So much for being a romantic, it doesn't get one far in life.

It is easy to know what is not felt...I understand what you are saying, but this is a point to ponder rather than reply.

I have not known insanity and doubt there is such a thing (in concept), but after a while depression has little more than a moderate effect. The first time though is horrible, i will agree there. I still remember it with an abstract clarity.

It took a while, few moments of thought, but I think what you are syaing is that you see reality as in some way subjective, so sanity (which is the misperception of reality) would be a non issue...am I right?

About romantics, I have no desire for romance and the thought actually repells me. But I am very glad you have some one. It would be nice to have just 'some one'.

oh, If you do try that associative writing thing, and of course providing that you don't mind, I would be interested in reading some.

My experiences with insanity have been induced by a bad miss management of drugs while in hospitals. Which has nothing much to do with "real" insanity, whether or not you believe in it, drugs aren't the same.

Yes. I'm not sure if, in actuality, i can uphold this view in every case.

I didn't mean romance as love only, more as a view of the world. Wanting society in the world to accept others for who they are and a world where shallow images are not pressed upon others as a matter of importance. In this kind of a world, others would see inside the person rather than judging their outside appearance. As a result, it would be much easier to find others similar to oneself and for others who are similar to find one.

(silently nods)...

Isn't that sort of every reasonable person's view of the perfect situation? But yes I have to agree that that would be a wonderful thing. I don't dress outlandishly or wear loud makeup or jewlry but I get judged for things that I DO wear and for the way I talk. Even the straight-clean cut types have a very tight box they are forced into. I think the net provides a semblance of that all inclusiveness that you mentioned. How 'real' that is is debateable.

Obviously there are things that no one should accept, child abuse, rape, things of that nature. But there are a good many things either prohibited legally or socially that are issues of preference. I think most people can not or do not see the difference between morality and preference.

Well, I don't know about three, so how about one question and two may be thought sometime in the future:
Where/how did you find me (or something of that nature)?

hey sorry for not seing this comment sooner...I think I found a comment by you that sounded...well, odd. So I clicked your name and tried to look over your work...which I can't do very well because I have no idea how to nav the place yet. Then I think I just dropped that comment in your journal...I think. But like I said I have no idea what I am really doing, don't even have a clue if you'll be notified about this reply.

Yes, replies to these page comments are received, but the actual comments on the userpage rarely ever show up as messages. On the page, you click on the name of a work. For other, previous works you click on the "gallery" or "more deviations" button. You'll get used to it after a while. it's not overly hard, i've been here a year less than my deviant since says to be honest.
