I read all the Hitogana chapters on the net just yesterday; when I saw that pic I instantly thought of your icon, it must've etched itself into my mind. I remember the epic ones!

hehe nice, its a sweet pic. moment i saw it i was like "omg i need to draw that" and only took a few mins to draw.... longer to ink lol

For me it's the way around - inking is takes less time than drawing. I always redraw the sketches a couple of times.

i usually am able to do the rough pencil sketch prety fast. then i do all the details as im inking. And cause of the combination of pencil/pen i us e(tracing paper + gel pens) it takes a long time to fill in large areas cause i have ot do very small strokes

why not use markers for large areas?

i tried it once, and the marker just looks so horrible compared to pen... it loses all of the nice/detailed look and no mmatter how good a pic is suddenly looks crappy lol
