I got to the end and was kind of left in a stupor for a moment there. I watched it really late at night (or early in the morning) sitting in a very dark room.
I think i still prefer Tekkon Kinkreet though- i don't know, i think that the characters are much more likeable...
that escaping from the whale's stomach scene though... it killed me

Yeah, i think the god scene was one my favourites. I kind of liked how they didn't make Nishi into that loveable loser character which seems to be everywhere at the moment. He was just a loser, full stop.
the whole things was quite refreshing- i think that that was the best part about it
