Hello Vio,

My name is Clive and I live in the United Kingdom.  I started drawing in July 2009 after a break of almost 50 years since school, and joined DeviantArt in September 2012.

There is an initiative in DeviantArt to welcome new members.  It has been suggested that I welcome you, which I am very pleased to do, as DeviantArt has brought me a lot of pleasure since I joined in 2012 and I hope that it does the same for you.

Seeing the Curvine link in your ID, am I correct in thinking that this is also you?  In which case I see that you have been on dA a year so will not need any help, but I will nevertheless include the next paragraph.

It took me some time to find my way around dA and I routinely use only some of the facilities, but If you have any questions please ask me in case I can help.  The Help and FAQ link at the bottom of each page can help, but you really need to know what you are looking for.  Notes are a good way of communicating with other members if you do not want to discuss things in public.  I urge you to comment on and add artworks that you like to your favourites (and even 'watch' the artists) particularly those artworks that are of a similar type to those that you produce.  In this way you will gradually become known within a group of similar artists, boosting views and comments.  Submitting your artworks to groups will also increase exposure.
