Hell yeah they were, Jotaro felt a bit more one-dimensional than Joseph or even Polnareff.

True, it did provide a nice contrast between him and Joseph. Jotaro though had some great episodes as well. The one with Older D'Arby particularly was one of my favorites, as well as the one with Steely Dan. But the absolute best to me was Joseph and Avdol dealing with Mariah
