Thank you very much. I used an actual ballettdancer as a very rough reference, as I had no photos of her. Just watched a documentary about her some years ago, and found her mimic very impressive.

It is a very old ink drawing of Erik. I do not know, if I still have it on my computer. I wasn't very pleased with the finished drawing. Only with the face and so I use it as an avatar. But I am planning to change my avatar. I have this avatar since I am a here on Deviantart. When it comes to new avatars, I am rather lazy.

Hey, at the moment, I use mostly pencil, ink, fineliner (waterproof) and watercolours. But some illustrator's colleague brought me also onto water-soluble fineliner mixed with water. And from time to time I like to draw in Painter X.

Thanks a lot. Originally, Erik started in my early designs with black hairs, too. But I had too much black haired characters, so I changed his hair color into red. I think, it fits to him very well. Especially to his sometimes explosive temper ;D
