I can see from your writing you are no slouch. However your style is very rigid, which is in no means a bad thing, it's the way you write, and you do write very well.
In regards writing songs it can hinder things a little unless you relax and let things flow out of you, raw emotion and metaphors, things which play with a persons senses. At the same time there's all different kinds of songs, all different types of music. Poetry, any kind, can be put over music, never forget that.
Sometimes the most beautiful things are the most simple things, if you want to write songs don't complicate them too much, get your message across in the most beautiful, most disgusting, rawest form.
-I am guilty of not doing most of the things I have just told you to do, I complicate things, get lost in my own thoughts and hide things away in code in my poetry/music, however that's the best advice I can give you. Thanks for following my stuff.
