The minigallery is a lot of images overlapped, and it seems like the hovering is the point? It's the hovering I was referring to that wasn't working. And that's what I was thinking of for the collab, basically. I don't know what your code looks like, and I haven't gotten anywhere with my attempt yet, but putting our heads together might make it work?
Were you trying to have the one you're hovering over rise to the top (I think)? In my browser, which is Camino (a Firefox/Safari mix for Mac), I see a flaky and garbled something in the place that I believe should be the image I'm trying to hover over, as well as a displaced mirror-image to the bottom right, a little less than one image-height down, and a little less than one image-width shifted right. I think you might have too many images in such close proximity that the browser doesn't know which one you're hovering over. Spacing them out a little more might help, but I kinda doubt that's the whole answer. Hope that helps, at least a little.
