Vis stomped down the corridor of the secondary home, DA. "Stupid spam! Stupid stupid spam! All I ever get around here is pointless spam!"
*pounce* Suddenly, he was knocked to the ground. "Hiya, Vissy!"
Vis coughed. "Istra, I can't breathe."
"Ah, breathings not important!" Istra excalimed as she bounced up and down on Vis's ribcage. "I caught ya', didn't I? That means I win!"
Vis gasped as the jungle cat kept prancing on his lungs. "Yes, you win, now get OFF!!!"
Istra gave him a quick clawing, and bounded off.
"Stupid cat. Why am I friends with a stupid jungle cat anyway?" Vis asked the ambient air.
"Because I'm cool!" Istra's voice came floating down the corridor as she looked for other people to pounce.
Vis grumbled as he got up and began dusting himself off and examingin his shredded clothes. "Man, I just GOT these pants too!"
Koori walked in as he was searching through the cuboards for some bandaids.
"What happened to YOU, vis?" she asked.
"Istn' it OBVIOUS?"
"Istra, eh?" said Koori, laughing, as she raided his 'frig for a stray carrot. "Y'know, you should really learn not to upset her."
"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!! I WAS THE VICTIM OF A POUNCE-BY SHREDDING!" Vis hollered.
"Hey, mate!" Mince said as he walked in. "Why are you yelling at my muffin?"
"I'm not YELLING, I'm merely EXPRESSING my FRUSTRATION!!!!" Vis said through clenched teeth.
"Uh huh. Sure y'are." Mince said, folding his arms across his chest.
Koori patted Mince consolingly. "It's okay. Don't pay any attention to him. He got mauled by Istra."
Mince eyed Vis's shredded pants and bloody legs. "Oh, I see. But that's no excuse for yelling at Koori!"
"YES IT IS!" Vis yelled.
He was suddenly hurled agains the opposite wall.
"Hi Istra." said Mince calmly, as Vis stared into Istra's narrowed eyes from 3 centimeters away.
"Hiya, Istra!" Koori said.
"You have five seconds to apologize to Koori, or your blood will flow!" Istra hissed at Vis.
"I will not! It was your fault anyway!!" Vis hissed back at Istra.
"All righty. Then lets fight this out, eh?" Istra said, getting off the floored Vis and flexing her claws.
"Sounds good to me, mate." Vis said, glaring at her, as he extended his claws and bared his fangs.
"Since when is Vis a jungle cat?" Koori asked Mince as the looked on with great interest.
"You remember that picture of a blue cat Istra made awhile ago?"
"Yeah ..."
"That's when."
"Oh."
The two cats circled each other around the floor, growling and spitting.
Finally, Istra pounced, lunging for Vis.
He quickly avoided the lunge, countering with a swipe at Istra's exposed leg. With a quick leap, Istra bounded out of harms way, and turned and caught Vis in the back. He yowled as she sunk her teeth visciously into his shoulder, then spun around and smashed her into the wall. She let go with a small grunt, then, collecting her senses, bounded at her opponent again. Vis caught her leap and managed to counter her powerful sweep of claws. Istra landed upright on the floor, and the two combatants began circling again, blood dripping from the various wounds they had inflicted on each other.
"You don't think they'll kill each other, do you, Mince?" Koori asked anxiously as she watched from on top of the frig.
"Nah." Mince said, patting her consolingly. "Just watch."
Istra and Vis continued to circle each other warily, looking for an opening. Suddenly, Vis leaped at Istra, who quickly dodged, and raked his side with her claws as he went by. Vis richocheted off the wall, and came flying back before Istra could turn around, and ripped a long gash on her back, before she parried. Leaping at each other, the two cats met in the middle of the now bloodied floor, clawing, slashing and roaring like an entire pride of lions.
Finally they broke, and continued circling warily at a distance. Suddenly, Istra looked up, and a huge grin split her face. "You look like something the cat dragged in, Vis." she laughed.
Vis looked down and surveyed his bloodied and shredded self, and then glanced at Istra, who wasn't in much better shape. "You don't look to bad yourself either, darlin'."
Istra laughed. "I'm sure I don't, sweetie." she said as she winked at Vis. The two jungle cats laughed at each other.
"I think we could use a bandaid or two, hon." Istra commented as she poked at her various injuries.
"I think you're right, dear." Vis agreed.
"I bet Raz has some. Lets go pounce her and see." The two cats bounded off, laughing at each other and leaving a trail of blood behind them.
Koori slowly climbed down from the frig. "Wow. They were really going at it."
"Ah, they're fine." Mince said as he helped her off the appliance. "They're happier when they're fighting anyway."
