It's super helpful. As a photographer I know how to pose other people, but not really myself.

Ahh, well I'm glad I could help! Posing is really hard - I still have a hard time doing it right at times, and I wrote the guide! *laughs*

It's ten times harder when your at a con and the person taking the picture gives you 2 secs to pose and get it looking right before the snap the pic. D:

*laughs* Don't I know it! At photoshots you have the luxury of snapping more shots if the first one doesn't turn out right. At cons...not really, unless the photo gets notably blurry, or something like that

Yeah, even then they'll just go on there way and post it later so everyone can see how derpy you look when you're trying to give them a good picture >-<

Oh yeah. That's happened way too many times by now. And, even if you felt that 90% of the photos taken turned out great, you may depend on the fact that it'll be those other 10% that shows up on the net!
