Mew is a female Vocaloid based on singer Miu Sakamoto and her name is based on Miu Sakamoto's too. She was released on the 30th October which makes that date her birthday. She was also one of the very first of the Vocaloid third generation. However, she isn't as popular as the others. This could be due to the fact that she is not meant for use by amateur or her design isn't as 'appealing' and/or 'cute' but more mature looking. As for her design, MEW has long black hair that seems to go past her waist. She wears a black vest with things that resemble sweat armbands. She wears a long flowing skirt with a leopard print. MEW has also been seen to have been drawn with sunglasses and a scarf, also with a leopard pattern. She has a tattoo on the top of her right arm, it is shown how her name is pronounced phonetically however the way it is written suggests its used a English phonetic notation, something curious considering Mew is a Japanese voicebank. She has a cat, her character item. This cat was also modeled after Miu Sakamoto's own, Savami. Also seen as Sabami. She is usually drawn with a monochrome style.
Strengths
Mew is a professional vocal intended to be for professionals. Her consonants are strong and her vowels are powerful, allowing her to change pitch suddenly and with ease. Users say that her voice is very versatile, and can be tuned to different tones to fit the user's taste, and song choice.
Weaknesses
Her consonants sometimes overpower the rest of the data, and her voice is hard to handle unless manipulated by an experienced or professional Vocaloid user.
