Ah, school has been keeping me busy, so I don't get much free time. So the gaia shop has fizzled since september.
I hope to start it up in the summer again.
BUT you needn't go there for art trades I'd be happy to trades with ya. Though it might be a wile before I have time to actually trade...
How's walkerville? Is Lock still Lockin the Locks of the Lockable Lockness? (ie: teaching you all about arty-goodness?)

I was talking to one of my work friends about girls with irish boy names (her name is Daire - pronounced dara - which is a common irish boy name) and so I mentioned you, and then she told me the COMMON IRISH SPELLINGS of Rory. And wrote them down for me.
I kid you not, these are two common Irish ways of spelling Rory:

Ruaidhri

I would love to go to Ireland and find my family castle/or shack. Everyone claims to be descended from royalty...but someone had to pick the potatoes. With my luck the O'Connors were all scullery maids.
I love learning about family history/names. Back in high school I looked up my surname, which in Gaelic is Ó Conchobhair (O prefix meaning, "son/ descendant of Conchobhair"). It means either hound lover or helping warrior, depending on the O'Connor clan...I have no clue which I'm from.
My namesake was apparently the last high King of Ireland, Ruaidrí mac Tairrdelbach Ua Conchobair.
I was always fascinated by the patronym tradition. There don't seem to be many female equivalents, except "Nic" which means "daughter of..".
Then there's Fitzroy, which means bastard son of a king. hiLARIOUS.

Well, I was always told it meant 'from the mountain', the first part being a typical 'from' thing... but apparently the last part actually has spanish roots for 'mountain'. And there's no mountains in Belgium. And there was some dealio with spaniards invading/being in Belgium apparently?

Browsed your gallery and notices your koi tattoo. I was horrified that you were practicing on yourself and was relieved that porkie pig provided the canvas. It's fantastic that you're trying out new materials, I have always wanted to try my hand at that.
