Good I recently saw Blue-Ridge-Riley's post about the 3 month core membership and the contest, and I decided that I want to make an OC of a German steam engine that saw use, and survived, both world wars. Since you have a liking for some german engines (or at least from what I've seen in your model train posts, stories and commissions), I wanted to ask you this:

Do you know of any steam engines that were german made that have seen action in both world wars, and survive? Anything will help. Thanks

I'd say the Bavarian S3/6 as a number of the locomotives were given to France as part of Armistice. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bavarian…

Their'd be more than just that I'm guessing you have already done the research on the two classes very thoroughly with the details and compared them both. Their are little tell tale details that do make the difference,I speak from experience on that one
