Sadly, the Corsair really isn't on the show - the character is only mentioned in one episode (The Doctor's Wife , a very good episode for other reasons as well) as an old friend of the Doctor's and we were given a few tantalizing biographical details in a book, but that's it. The rest of it, including what the Corsair looks like is all a product of my imagination.
I've been playing/writing for the character on a roleplaying blog I started last year, corsairnumberfive , and she's shown up in so much of my art because I can't just write something and not draw it.
