holy cow, somehow, someway , I think life and school claimed my soul and I have lost track of almost everything, this is the first time Ive been on DA since 2009, I am doing well, how are you? I will try to catch up with everyone as soon as I can, I have tons of pictures, not many drawings since I dont have time nowdays but I will upload when I can

Yes me and my friend almost passed out when we found them. I asked my geology teacher at tech if she knew there were pyrite specimens like this anywhere in America and she didnt know of any place. Im sure there are a few places, but they are rare. I think we took all of them from that site, lol. We were there all day. Now we just have to wait for some more to erode out of the ground in the creek bottom. The only other occurance of shiny pyrite specimens comes from Russia. Usually when they are replaced by pyrite they are black and dull. I love geology! When are you coming to Arkansas, lol.
