Hey iread1 of u comments on the "His Tohru" story and i ship yuki and tohru and i was wondering what do u mean by infinite parallel universes theory?

Hahaha oh yes, my favorite theory of all time. There's a legitimate scientific theory that there are an infinite number of parallel universes, each one resulting from a slight change of intent/action. A new universe wouldn't split off if a blade of grass blew one way instead of another, but what if Germany won WWI? What if JK Rowling decided to make Harry Potter a girl? What if someone decided not to go to school one day? All of these could drastically effect the events surrounding that person(/country), and therefore the theory of parallel universes states that an alternate universe would break off where Germany did win WWI, or JK Rowling did make Harry Potter a girl, etc etc.
Now in terms of fiction/fanfiction. If there really are an infinite number of parallel universes, this means that there's an infinite number of possibilities for how the world works. So there's probably an alternate universe where the whole Zodiac thing really happens. And another where some family named the Sohmas exists. And another where the two real people Yuki and Tohru are in love.
Sorry for being so long-winded lol. Does that make sense?
