Difficult to say.
I believe regarding her trust, she was a ticking time bomb. Even if she had heard Macbeth say "we won't betray the gargoyles", she would have betrayed him eventually. All it would have taken was one misunderstanding, one wrong word, one missed sentence. As you said, she was paranoid and didn't really trust anyone so even if it had not been that moment, another one would have surely come to make her ram a knife into Macbeth's back.
