lmfao! that's me!!!. Yeah I can see Yannick has taught you, your work reflects his quite a bit actually heh. Which is a good thing, he's a great photographer. Yeah I love my MarkII, I was rather pissed when the 7D came out, having features which should have been on my camera. Since the 1D MarkIV came out I was actually thinking bout going for it, it's 12800 iso looks like my 3200 iso. But I'll wait and see what the 1DS MarkIV has in stock, full frame madness man, I expect it's 25600 to look like my 3200 if they don't bump up the megapixels. Sorry I blab too much bout technical issues lol.

oh and just saw the report for the 5D2 firmwire. The 1080 24p was expected, but they've also added a 720 60p

Naw... 720p at 60fps? on the MarkII???, I think you may have got the 7D and MarkII mixed up in that manner, if I'm mistaken, then please show me the url where you found out this info bout the 60fps!. Cuz the 7D has dual digiIV processors. I'd like to see the 5D do 720p at 60fps but given it's using a full frame sensor on top, more data throughput compared to the 7D's cropped, I highly doubt it can do 60fps with only one processor. But I hope I'm wrong lol.

I know. At first, (and still), I don't believe the single digic processor of the mark II can take 60fps without overheating and exploding into pieces.
but I came upon this info on Canon rumour (which of course, is an naturally doubtful source)

anyhow, the 24p is a great thing. The 60p could be a plus, even if the recording time would probably be limited to less than 4-5 minutes.

Haha, the funny thing is that most of the pics were taken before me and Yannick met, so at some point Yannick was like 'hey man, I can see a part of myself in your pics
and dude, since september, I was literally resisting the temptation of upgrading to the 7D... the 24p and 60p are just perfect for my cinematography projects... better low light, weather sealed, pfff
its not FF, but the 5D2 is just overkill for me lol.. the 7D is already quite expensive xD
