Lupin is my absolute favorite anime franchise, and I'm so glad I was able to spread that love through my silly little fic.
Now that I think about it, it's been a while since I watched the ol' red jacket series.
I think I might rewatch that soon.

I recently found a blueray copy of Lupin the III The Castle of Cagliostro and im fully in love with the series. I need to watch the anime

Oh man Cagliostro is great. WAY over-referenced nowadays, but surely a Lupin classic. (PROBABLY because Miyazaki)
I'm curious tho, which dub is on the blu ray? I know there's at least four or five different English dubs that exist of Cagliostro.
The one I'm most familiar with is the Manga Studios dub.
I would highly recommend starting with the red jacket series, which is actually the second series of the franchise.
It's light-hearted adventure while also being playfully naughty.
The Geneon dub is particularly hilarious. It makes a lot of unnecessary modern references, but otherwise it's super enjoyable.
Though sadly they only dubbed half of the series, the series as a whole is definitely worth watching. (the last couple episodes are VERY Miyazaki)
Though I might be a little biased as the red jacket series was my gateway into Lupin (watched it on Cartoon Network late at night) and that series was what made me fall in love with it. xD

Streamline dub and another, they also had the original 1979 Japanese version too.
If I still had cable I'd be watching it on toonami (I think once funimation dubs it they're gonna have part 5 on there)
But ill look into watching the red jacket series.
I also flippin love jigen, next to lupin and goemon he's my favorite.

Yuck, I hope it's not back to Funimation. Their casting for the handful of special they dubbed was... eh, and they refuse to pronounce anybody's names correctly. ("Loopin' and Jiggin', daHUR!!!")
Pretty sure it's the more recent dubbing studio (I forget their name) that's been doing the more recent shows and movies that's doing Part 5, as this studio uses most of the same voice cast that Geneon used for red jacket. (Richard Epcar is the best and only Jigen)

Jigen is best, and I recently saw like the first half of "jigen's gravestone" (subbed) and I swoon.
Oh I'm also back into fraggle rock as well, and in your fic, frickin boober as jigen's twin is the best thing ever. Now I can only see his human look as a beardless, red headed version of jigen :u:
