I just played through the entire game as the body double, and I must say...I love this character very much. He's what you wish Handsome Jack could have been, or at least the descent guy he keeps claiming to be. Out of all the characters, the body double is the one human (playable character) throughout the entire game who is morally right, and is reasonable enough to talk with without fear of being shot in the back. Throughout the entire game, he makes it obvious that he doesn't want to be on Elpis, and that he never wanted to be a body double. God, I really hope he wasn't killed in BL2, because I can tell you that this guy did not deserve to die like Jack, or any of the others. I just really hope that he somehow got his surgery reversed, since Janey did say that she knew someone who could help.

Hey uuuuuuuhhhh....might I ask for your talents? You see, after playing the doppelganger, I've had this image in my head about him regretting his choice in joining the body double program. I'd like you to draw a touching scene of Timothy(The body double), looking at his old picture after a long hard day with the other vault hunters. He's covered in the blood of the people he killed, but unlike his other companions, (including the real Jack) he's not smiling. I sort of want an image that says both lost innocence and loss of identity. If this image is not what you had in mind for Timothy, then I guess you could make a funny drawing like you did with Wilhelm,. Timothy has acrophobia, (A fear of heights) and he reveals this when Janey asks him to help make motivational posters. If you could make a pic of the body double, then that would be the most awesome thing like...ever. If not, oh well, I'll still like you anyway, plus I like talking BL with you.

Welp, I just finished the story for the fourth time, and I got to say, the game was good, but it lacked in story, and didn't have as many missions like in BL2. I get that this was Jack's rise to power, but the stories outcome seemed pretty much expected. I knew there would be a plot twist, I knew something would have made Jack snap, but the only thing I hadn't expected was for Lilith, Roland, and the vaults vision to have been the reason. In the end, I feel pretty bad for Jack, but the hole main story felt like filler. When the game developers said that the vault hunters would be more chatty, I kinda expected them to interact more with each other, but they only say things at certain points in the game or compliment each other on their skills. I kinda wanted a deeper storyline with each of them, but you only ever hear their echo recordings, which somehow got on to the moon. But I can't say it was all bad, I loved the gameplay, I love the diverse characters we get to play, and I love the things they say. Like for instance, this one quote that made me declare the body double as my all time favorite character for BL-TPS, was when Jack told us to kill the unarmed Dahl soldier. The quote is simple, but after hearing Timothy's lines, I knew that the guys at gearbox really wanted to make the body doubles personality pop. The quote I speak of is when you decide against killing the unarmed Dahl soldier, and Timothy says, "I'm not you Jack." I know it's not much of a big deal, but this shows Timothy's true colors. It shows that he is a person, a new vault hunter that arrived in the shape of a familiar face, someone who despite everything that had happened, wouldn't go crazy or want revenge. In this way, (Excluding Claptrap) he is not like the others, and he's more then just Jack's body double.
Ok, now that all of this is said, I do look forward to the new DLC campaigns that will be coming in the future. The fact that the vault hunters, (Including Athena) were still working with each other after the events of the Pre-sequel shows that they were just as close to each other, as the other vault hunters are in the other BL games. So yeah, this is my opinion, hope to hear from you soon.

I do recognize your opinon. And agree that it was a little more of a filler
But I give Gearbox credit for tying up the loose ends.
I think the thing people don't quite realize is that as soon as BL2 was finished.
Gearbox wasn't even thinking of making the presequel. They were (and still are)
working on Battleborn (which is going to be great). My theory is that 2kAUS was
kinda holding Gearbox at "gun point" like "HEY MAKE TPS A THING OR WE'LL FIRE YOU FROM OUR PUBLISHING"
So whoever wasn't working on Battleborn got rounded up into working on TPS.
It is a great game, i do love it. But even Burch said that he didn't actually write a lot of the dialouge.
A lot of it was 2kAUS doing the writing.
Still. I loved the game. I really did. I hope I'll get to play as Timmy soon.

I think what is going to happen with Tales is that the episodes are going to release until BL3.
And that its going to be great because during the PAX panel. Randy Pitchford was like
sososososo excited for Tales.

Well that explains a lot, I guess it would explain why it didn't feel as grand as BL2. Don't get me wrong, I love the Pre-sequel and it's new characters, it brought in new mechanics that made the game even more fun. As for Battleborn, I gotta say I'm also excited for that one, but I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't see any new footage at Pax prime Australia. I guess the Devs had a lot on their plate to show any new footage, oh well, I just hope the next Pax shows us more characters, and some new gameplay to go with it, that would be awesome. So far, my favorite character is Marquis Decalibur, the dapper aristocratic robot butler. I even plan to write a fanfic about him and a complicated relationship with a certain character. This game is the very reason I'm getting a next gen console, which I thought I wouldn't need to get anytime soon.
Oh well, 've been wrong before, but that's life and all that. Now with this all said, since were both waiting anxiously, what's your favorite so far?

All the heads at gearbox are really excited for it and from what they showed.
I think its going to be a really great game.
