Yeah, getting ground for commissions is dang hard. I feel like you have to know the right people/have the right kind of fanbase to get footing, and that footing is what you need to get started in the first place...but then I also know people who just offer and keep offering, and it seems to work for them, so I dunno. D:

Yeah. :/ It's so frustrating. I've been seeing personal success on Tumblr and FB, but outside of you...I get like, no comments or anything anymore. Which, hey, DA has been getting bigger, so I TOTALLY get it, but I find it a little ironic that my older, terrible art got more feedback than my newer, shinier art.

I'm glad to hear! Do you have finals coming up? Good luck if you do! I hated finals. I'm so glad to be away from that. Two years left! That's pretty awesome! What're you majoring in? 

Things are going well! Finally got a nice job earlier this year, but also trashed my beloved car and had to replace it. I also got engaged, which is pretty spiffy!

Done with finals so I'm free until mid january! Im going for a BFA in Character Animation at UCF.

AHH Congrats on the engagement and the job!! Both are wonderful! sorry about your car though. My car died a few months ago too and i had to get to new one so i feel ya there.

Thank you! Boy and I are pretty excited. Of course, now I'm hearing from tons of other friends that they're getting married at almost the same time, so it's going to be interesting juggling dates with people, ha. 

Sucks about your car, too. I still miss my old car sometimes - mostly because it was a stick and I got better gas mileage out of it than I do my brand new car, ugh - but I'm glad to have gotten out of the accident without any serious injury.

No worries dude! I'm in the opposite boat, I get better mileage now with my new car. (neither were sticks though). The semester is crazy, so much work I'm basically drowning in it, but I'm keeping afloat somehow! It's my spring break now and I'm basically just using this week to buckle down and catch up on all my work!

he's about 16 now. His batteries are just about to run out so I'm just making him comfortable and cleaning up the battery acid when it leaks out.
