Hmmm don't think of a human as a big mass that you must get right at first try. Try breaking them into simple shapes, for example head = oval, torso = oval, legs are two elongated logs connected with a circle in the middle (a knee) arms the same. They think of humans as a doll or a manequin, because that's what we are! The most important is to sketch the -bones- which are the mane frame of the body, don't worry about the hands or feet or face, that can come later. Thats why most people start with a sketch - something like that - [link] (this is a good example of progression from a manequing to a body) [link] ( this guy got into too much muscle structure)
[link] And this is what I am talking about, you don't need to draw a mannequin every time you draw a human but try to break us down to simpler shapes, you see, his hands are just ovals, legs, the same, torso the same. People aren't that complicated when you think about that.

But of course like in everything there are several... levels of difficulty. Have you heard of perspective? How it shortens limbs depending on how we look on them? But this is a lesson for another time, for now I will try to find you some simple poses to draw from if you'd like? :3
