Hmmmmm, I shall have to consider putting you on watch though I'm already watching an insane number of over-productive artists. I'll at least try to remember to stop back in and check out more.

(Wasn't doing too much digital art for a while).. tho I did experiment and try acrylic panting IRL-- managed to do 2 small paintings, and then three larger ones as gifts.. x) i should take pics of them all sometime and upload it.

Yeah I've been jumping around at games. I was heavy into Guild Wars 2 for about two years; into Star Wars the Old Republic for several years off and on; and then there is the slew of solo games I have. I tentatively started my sixth run at the Mass Effect trilogy to try the last class that I haven't played but I haven't gotten far. I haven't figured out what the class is supposed to be good at yet. I've also been trying another run at DragonAge: Inquisition to play through with different companions to see if they can keep me as entertained as Vivienne, Sera, and Iron Bull; those three together were so hilarious I would almost literally fall our of my chair laughing at their dialogs. I guess the voice-actors were just having too much fun with their scripts.

Ahh!! I got like 70% map completion in GW2! XD That's as far as I was able to go... I didn't get past Chara Creator in SWTOR D: cuz the options were limiting without gettin stuff in the cash shop QQ (games gotta make monies tho so i can understand it.. lol).. I'm horrible for quitting a game at tutorials or during character creation tho I'll admit.. XD
Ah! I enjoyed the Mass Effect Series Idr playing the 3rd one tho... Nice, 6th run epic!! Dragon age too? Sounds like u play a lot of games sometimes thats cool.. havent heard of the other three, I'm guessing maybe steam games ? ^^ I'll have to look em up maybe, tho tbh BDO keeps me so busy!!!

I have one character of each class in GW2 and a couple of them have 100% map completion. The rest I tend to wander around into new areas slowly working them towards their own 100%. I found though that the story play balance was horrid; they assume that everybody has the most epic gear you can get in the game and they often include strange "song and dance" routines you have to learn on the fly in order to advance. On the other hand the fact that they reward your friends for helping out encourages people to be supportive of other players. And it helps if you get in with a good guild. I joined shortly after some other DA friends and they introduced me to the guild they belonged to who are very friendly and helpful and that was super.
SWTOR's cash shop was just cosmetics mainly except for late-game stuff mostly like raids and operations - not like some of the games that heavily nerf you unless you throw a lot of money at the cash shop to buy advanced gear. I've been a paid subscriber through most of the period since early access though. Honestly the crafting system is pretty pointless; the stuff you really want to craft at endgame you can't get the materials for without running raids and ops and stuff that I won't do - really your best bet is to pick up a couple crafts that you can get companion gifts from so you can get companion influence up high. I found all the class stories to be fairly interesting to play through and the planet stories are interesting at least the first time. And I enjoy BioWare companions though the companion interaction is pretty limited. I've created a few male characters just so I could romance favorite female companions.
The 3rd ME game got a lot of bad press for how poorly they did the ending; but the game-play and the story up to that point is really good. It's a lot of fun to be able to catch up with former companions and see what they are up to. I found it interesting to see how much you could change some of your companions like Jack.
DragonAge: Inquisition is another BioWare game; it's the second sequel to DragonAge: Origins. BioWare RARELY produces crappy games IMHO and Inquisition was awesome. The three names I mentioned were companions I enjoyed playing with during my first play-through. They worked together to support you even if they didn't much like each other in some cases. The banter back and forth between these three is pretty epic. I'd say it's the most epic companion interactions in any BioWare game I've ever seen.

Yeah having a good guild is almost essential to enjoying an mmo.
I agree on the cosmetics; the main reason I gave up on SWTOR the first time was that I was thoroughly frustrated with the miserable costuming they had; especially at endgame. Especially for the Jedi the endgame costume was just a variation of the white wedding dress they sell on Corruscant. The first time I saw a guy wearing it I thought it was hilarious because that's what I thought it was. I couldn't imagine why a guy would be wearing a female-only wedding dress. Then I reached max level and started getting some of the endgame gear and discovered that that's what it was; just a slightly revamped version of the wedding dress. And OMG did SWTOR have the worst skirts; and they expected EVERY Jedi and most Sith to wear them. UGH! The new system wear you can set up a few cosmetic costumes that show instead of your actual gear is so much better than that.
Yeah ME was willing to be a little more adult but yet not so adult as to get into trouble for pornography; SWTOR gives you options to try to romance your companions but the physical representation is limited to a couple kisses and a fade-to-black after discussing "taking some time all to ourselves." But from a guys standpoint several of the girls are voiced by actresses who were fun to listen to and the extra conversations while you were trying to romance them was delightful. And the characters themselves weren't terrible even for MMO geometry. Romance through the original class stories is purely heterosexual; but in the advanced stories starting with the two Knights Of series they open up some potential homosexual romances for those who are interested in that.
Yeah: Vivienne is a female human mage; she's born of noble station so she's a little bit of a snob but not enough to be obnoxious. But a definite superiority complex while still being essentially a nice person. She's also been court wizard for one of the most important regional rulers. Sera is a female elf rogue. Now it's important to note that the main continent was the Elven homeland and at some point in the past there was a war with the humans that the elves lost; and were subsequently enslaved and lost all knowledge of their own culture. So the elves are pretty consistently the underclass. Sera is a bit crazy; and a definite renegade and freedom fighter. She loves intricate and crazy plans designed to punish nobles who are mean to their servants. And she absolutely detests nobles like Vivienne; especially when they put on airs. Iron Bull is a "Qunari Giant" - Qunari are followers of a code of conduct that controls every aspect of their lives. The Qunari Giants seem to be a hybrid of human and dragon; they stand a foot or more taller than most humans and many have draconic characteristics like horns. Qunari culture is generally matriarchal; ruled by a special caste of women who make all the important decisions. They do recognize that males make better warriors and war-leaders though. So in Qunari culture everybody is used to being obedient to the female leaders. Vivienne often wears a head-dress with horns that makes her look taller and also sub-consciously reminds Iron Bull of the female Qunari leaders. Vivienne takes advantage of that all the time on Iron Bull and even once he realizes what she's doing he can't break the conditioning. Sera and Vivienne carry on a long sniping campaign with each one trying to figure out how to scare the other one off and it never seems to work in Sera's favor but she can't stop trying. Meanwhile Sera and Iron Bull keep coming up with the most insane plans for ideas to try in combat. Listening to the three of them banter is amazingly funny.
The DragonAge world is also amazingly intricate; they don't lay everything out in the open and many of the things you think you learned turn out to be false-hoods based on ancient myths. So it's intriguing to try to figure out what is really going on with the world. I always enjoy trying to solve mysteries like that.
