I love that aswell! I am amazed how organised they were, in such early times. Still, my personal favourites are the warriors of the steppe, the whole horse-archery is in my blood, and the heavily armored knights. There, the Hospitallers and the Teutons are my favourites!

If just read a series of books abouth Djenghis Khan, damm good books in English btw. I bought one on sale and liked it so much thet I bought the others to It describes the empire of Djenghis during and after his death.

I'd like to know it, yes! What I love is that the steppe-culture remained nearly the same for around 30000 years, the scythans, the awars, the cumans, hungarians, turks, kipchaq, mongols, tatars, etc. We're like one, big family!

The writer is Conn Iggulden and his books are:
- wolf of the plains
- lords of the bow
- bones of the hills
- empire of silver
The first one is good the second one is even better and the third was is also damm good. The last one empire of silver is good but I didn't had the drive that I had with the others if you know what I mean I love history so also historical books

The history books I read were from Paul Doherty, he wrote awesome ancient-egyptian mystery books, and WW2 romans from Joachin Peiper. I'll try to search the Conn Iggulden books somewhere in local bigger books stores, or libraries! Thanks!
