Yeah it's pretty much a hole but eh. It's home. I've only been to Auckland a couple of times. Once to Rainbows End and another time for the national dragon boating competition. It was great. It's a cool city

Lol yeah we managed to come 2nd and the team that won also beat us in our regionals but they have their own lake which they train on and dragon boating is part of their PE curriculum so how could they not win. And well i've never been to any other amusement park so i had nothing to compare rainbows end to. So how did your New Years go?drunk: or i guess how did you feel the morning after is the better question.

Haha lol you got off lightly then. So did I. My friend comad on my bed so I slept on the floor. At about 4.30am I felt like vomiting and then went back to sleep so it wasn't that bad. Then a woke up at 8.30 and had to make the house look presentable for when the parents came back. People helped so it wasn't that bad.

Ah the party-when-the-parents-are-away parties Such fun! My friend always seems to have them and I'm always the one who cleans up. Because I'm that nice. But having to get up at 8.30 to do so? Ew!

Lol yeah I kinda changed my mind at the last minute and backed outta pak n save coz there might be a job at the Upper HUtt City Council which pays $12 an hour which is a hell of a lot better than $7.60 thats for sure. Commerce aye? Where do you wanna go with that?

Yeah it is but it means i get about $360 in the hand a week. Yeah i kinda wish I was going to uni coz most of my friends are. But at the end of the year I want to audition for the Toi Whakaari drama school so i guess there's no point anyway.
How long does commerece take? Is it the standard 3 year or longer?

yeah standard three years. There's some post graduatate stuff aswell though.

Nah I've got a trip to England towards the end of June which costs $7000 so I'll only be saving from July onwards but it'll still give me some money towards it.

Okay the coolest place I've ever gone to is Ascension Island. Which is this tiny little island in the Atlantic ocean about half way between Africa and South America. We went years ago with the RAF and it was just amazing. It's so tiny and one side of the island looked (to us, we were still pretty young) just like the moon! Only with donkeys! Cause it was grey and a reddy brown with no plant life. And at night we went down to the beaches and saw the giant turtles come up on the shore.

In retrospect, it'd be pretty boring to go there now that I'm older because yeah, there's pretty much only one village with a fish n' chip shop. Mmaybe there's a restaurant there now I dunno. But it's still pretty cool to talk about because not only have few heard of it, few have/had access 'cause it was still basically a military base then. (if you're interested [link] )

Hong Kong's okay, I'm personally pretty biased cause we go there all the time on stop overs and haven't had much time to explore or do anything more exciting than wandering around downtown and hanging out at my dad's hotel room. It's stinking hot most of the time and the markets stink something awful. Have yet to check out the Disneyland there either.

It's hard to pick one place because after awhile they all just sorta merge together and you forget which tropical island goes with which memory n' stuff. I know. I'm spoilt

Wow it looks pretty cool. Its great because you can say you've been there and chances are most people that you meet (if not all) will never go there in their life. Lol yeah I wish I could say I cant remember which tropical island I visited was which. The place that I have always wanted to visit was Egypt. I think it would be so cool. Wait and Venice, though I think Venice was because of Tomb Raider 2, you know that cool level in the boat...Yeah...I'm a game nerd

I was always fascinated by the whole pyramids thing. And the sphinx. The fact that they were built thousands of years ago and yet they were so huge and complex. I just wanna see them with my own to eyes. I dont think photos do them justice. WHat about you. What would be the one place (that you havn't gone to) you would chose to go if you could go anywhere and why?

It's really sad but ever since I was little I've wanted to go on to places like Majorca. I grew up in England and that's where everybody seemed to go. Of course, they all went on package holidays and to them it seem so mundane and boring and cliche but I've never been so ...

Yeah, things are always so much better in person than in pictures. They just dont capture the feeling you get. Colour n' smells n' texture. Of course, once you've been there yourself then photos are great.
