Not sure, really; whatever it was, the thing was damn clever. We had to call somebody from the antivirus program to locate the virus, since it hid in one of my old files and popped up out of nowhere one day. It's isolated now, but I lost quite a few files in the process. /sulk

Lucky friend. Five classes is crazy, but if it'll get me an earlier registration date for next semester (read: I can pick what classes I want to take before the other lucky slackers), I'll happily drive myself into the madness.

Really? D8 is it one of those "scarewares" where they pop up telling you that you have a million viruses and trying to scare you into buying their fake anti-virus? It sounds more like a back door virus... another of my friend had those.

At least you're thinking ahead either way, it does sound crazy. x.x I think you can take extra classes like regular English, Science, and Math, right?

Yep. Started in late December, and before I could do anything to stop it, the thing installed itself as the fake anti-virus on my computer. Just a few weeks ago, it popped up again on my computer, having hidden between my files.

You mean, like take extra courses on my schedule already? No. Seventeen units (5 classes) is the max number I can take in a semester, without going to the Dean for approval. But for taking classes in general? Sure. I wanted to take two English courses (world mythology and critical thinking), but I gave up the former for a required chemistry course.

You should probably get an anti-virus that helps block sites that install it. Then bring up this anti-virus and scan it a few times. I recommend Malwarebytes. Usually with just that, it can get rid of the virus (granted at this point the virus hasn't affect and blocked any other files, cause it can do that if you don't get it in time) there's also plenty of tutorials on youtube on how to get rid of these. Do you remember the name of this virus?

Nah, I do mean regular classes in general I hear they require you to take certain classes though...I just wonder if there's a creative writing class because that's what I love to do.
...Though World Mythology does sound like a lot of fun...and Critical Thinking sounds like something I would be good at xDD

We got the McAfee antivirus, and I don't recall...All I know and remember is that it was a virus that pretended to be the Windows 7 Antivirus System Check, or something along those lines. I'd rather not risk clicking the isolated file with the virus to find out what it is exactly.

Yeah, some colleges require certain classes be taken, otherwise they can't count as the right credits for transferring or getting into a program.

Critical Thinking is mostly about analyzing literature, down to the smallest details in the text. It's kinda fun, but I'd probably enjoy the class more if it wasn't directly after my math class. XP

Oh I see now... McAfee...isn't that good <.<;; Malwarebytes is good for getting rid of them though :3 you should probably do a full scan if you ever do download it.

Pretty much. XP Psych is mainly an open lecture about what goes on in the brain and why we do certain things or behave in different ways. But because the professor is so...all over the place, I can't tell what she wants us to learn or take in. I thought I was doing okay until I saw my score for the first class test. Now I need to work on a personal development paper.

Aww, that's never fun. Art school? Well, at least you have that in mind. (Of course it does, even if it's a pain.)
