Just did a search on it. Looks nice for those that don't want to get their hands dirty with programming languages, compilers etc
I like to write everything(or most at least) from scratch myself(which is also why my projects take a LOOONG time to finish ._.)

MMF2 just takes the pain out of it, it does have its limits though however they are very hard to reach.
I started learning java for real coding but there was no way i could emulate what i was achieving with MMF2 without years and years of practice.
Also MMF2 exports to IOS, XNA, Flash, Android etc so its great.
what you working on?

C++ with allegro 5 as graphical/input library. It's cross-platform, so I can compile for Windows, *NIX, Mac, Android and IOS(the latter two ports are still under heavy development though).
