# About me
I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, as a pre-schooler drawing Power Rangers, to an elementary student drawing Gundam, and towards most recently a middle-schooler/high schooler drawing manga! While I may bore from video games, and television, case in point I ALWAYS make time for my craft. Whilst they say not to rest on one's laurels, I must admit, it was the positive reactions of my classmates throughout my elementary years that gave me the confidence to keep drawing. But it was the skill and grace of the real artists I encountered, growing up, that kept me grounded. You know them-- the artists that make the weak willed give up, and utter "why bother" but are too humble to admit their own skill. "But", I always told myself, that "If you keep trying. you can surpass them". Let it be known that art is not a contest, but when you inherit the hot-blooded competitive nature of your mother, it damn sure feels like one. I guess this cycle of being the cream of the crop and feeling inferior has helped me progress to where I am today as an artist-- but I don't want to improve to be loved and boost my ego, I want to "want to" improve for the love of the craft. I think achieving that is one of my number one goals in my art, and admitting this is the first step.# Comments

Thanks for the kindness, as a (self proclaimed) artist we're usually taught not to let this get to our heads, but damn it! It really feels nice to hear(er read)something like this. I haven't read a long comment like yours directed towards me since my Risen-Philanthropy days. To be honest I don't believe I have much watchers because if you check my stats I suppose I haven't commented enough or been involved enough in the Deviantart community(I only got back into it in March of this year)--though honestly ,until your comment, I thought perhaps I just wasn't good enough... Or in another light perhaps because I haven't drawn enough of Yellow, my old love(we've all had a crush on a character or two haven't we-- I'm not afraid to admit that)! Haha! So just for you I'll be glad to draw her with all my spirit, not even to win(though it'd be nice if I earned it), but out of my gratitude to you for lifting my spirits, and for Yellow too!
