Honestly, I just drew a lot.... especially from life. Sit down and draw a tree or a door knob or something. It's tough work but it'll make you get much better then others in your grade.

I'd classify most of my work as digital fantasy and sci-fi painting.
I usually take about 30 min to sketch out several thumbnails and then I spend about an hour doing a rough drawing. It may take about four hours to do the entire drawing from start to finish. Depends.

I don't do any comics but my friend Mike does. He usually focusses on something like robots or police... his robot comics are more funny and his police comics are more serious.

Thx, I've been working on an idea for one and just finish part of the story board. Its only a small crappy excuse of a comic, but its only a starter I guess. And I have been having trouble adding color so the link really helped

Sounds good dude. I'd suggest trying to sketch it, ink it, and then color it. If you know how to do transparency in your program you can color under the inked comic.

I'm actually working on one of the characters right now...haven't given him a name yet...I marked him on the story board as "WF"...should probably give him one. But I'll upload the work-in-progress.
