How was the Tai Kai? i was unable to go, i had a family vacation i had to go on, my sensei mark was there as well as sevral dojo mates!

Wow, I am getting to this rather late. I am don't come on much, so I am still unsure of the new set up.
The Tai Kai was fantastic; just what I needed to start off the school year. Since I am still pretty new to the art, I was trying to take in all of the information, which left me mentally exhausted. It was really cool to see how many of us there are. However, now I am in college and I can only train with a Tae Kwon Do group. They are teaching me a lot of kicks, but I have to comply with their system (so many yells and clean-cut movements) and I am afraid that I may be picking up some bad habits.
I hope that your vacation was enjoyable. Did you go anywhere far? Or did you stay stateside?

I can understand where your coming from, i went to a seminar after only training a month. And i trained in Tae Kwan Do for a short amount of time, its not all that practical but if its all you have then its better than nothing.
My vacation was very enjoyable, we went out to a area near jackson hole wyoming where we go every summer. got alot of horseback riding and shooting in, as well as some amazing backpacking
