Its pretty much an MMORPG. There are TONS of classes to choose from. A lot of the classes are based of the original 'Explorers' classes: Warrior, Bowman, Thief, Magician, and Pirate.
As you level up further into your job, at specific levels you can advance your job by talking to the instructors that gave you your class and they will send you on a little quest/errand for you to complete. Afterwards when you finish it, you are bestowed new skills andΒ (for some classes) a new 'title' (example: a Pirate at level 30 can become a Brawler or a Gunslinger depending on which weapon they prefer for that class... aka. knuckles or a gun).

There's generally 3 main ways to level up: Quests, Grinding, or Party Quests. The first two are obvious as to what they are. Party Quests are special quests that require you to be in a party with other players and complete the specific tasks of that Party Quest.
(Highest level you can be [I'm pretty sure] is level 250.)

Its really fun and can be addicting sometimes. Downloading will most likely take a while but that's expected.
