Favorite movies: Sweeney Todd for sad days, How to Train Your Dragon, Disney, Pixar, animated films generally.Favorite TV shows: I love animated shows. Family Guy and American Dad are always good background noise, but kids shows and anime are my genre of choice.
Favorite bands / musical artists: I'll listen to anything if it's good. :D
Favorite books: Temeraire Series, Twilight is occasionally nice for light fluff, mostly go for Fantasy, then Romance or YA.
Favorite writers: Stephen King, Patricia Briggs, Kelley Armstrong, Naomi Novik
Favorite games: Pokemon (omg X/Y soon!), Sengoku Basara (3), Dynasty Warriors is always mindless entertainment, Animal Crossing in spurts.
Favorite gaming platform: PS3 and 3DS. PC gaming isn't half bad either.
Tools of the Trade: My Brother Sewing and Embroidery Machine~, and I now have a Wacom Graphire 3 drawing tablet that I need to keep trying out.

We're doing well! I go to Portland State's orientation next Thursday, and she's about to turn in a few applications. How goes it there?

I am trying to get into school but i honestly dont know what to do to get started.

Well, step one is to apply to a community college near you. Usually, they'll accept you within a day or so. Step two is to take whatever placement tests they require. (Usually it's Math and English.)
Then figure out which classes will fill requirements to transfer. (Sit down with a counselor and talk to them, although, generally not within the first two weeks of a quarter/semester. They'll be super busy then.
And go from there! If you know what you want to major in, work towards getting an AA in that, or take general requirements and start taking a class every semester to figure out what you're interested in. :3 You can do it!

Been suuuuuper busy with work/school, and Kai got a second job, so she's been working like crazy.
We're both starting to get excited for Fanime, and are trying to decided what we want to cosplay this year, since we both are chomping at the bit to work on something!
How are things going down there? Getting excited yet? Hope you were able to get a hotel room! (We barely did, but we did get the Marriott like usual!)

We are excited but our room is going to be full of people... again. 6-8 people in a room meant for 4 arg!
My cosplays.... well lets say i really dont have any :/ none fit me anymore i gain so much weight and loosing it is like crazy hard. XD But i am trying to make digi grade stilts for a faun outfit i am planning
