He is risen! It's the only joy in this life, to know that Lord Jesus even reigns, and holds my soul in His hand. He's alive, and He is my life, and my hope; I hope that you have had a good day, my friend. May God bless and keep you, and lead you in the paths of righteousness for His namesake; remember that our Lord Jesus lives, and that He reigns, and that because He is our hope, and because all His promises are sure and true -- no trial or sorrow in this life is too great -- because though we ourselves are vile and weak -- we have a King who has taken our sins and nailed them to the cross. He has conquered death -- all things are in subjection under Him -- He is the King of kings and Lord of lords; and with unmeasurable lovingkindesses and tendermercies, He has promised to never forsake us -- but to always lead us every moment of every day -- until that day when He finally calls us home; where we shall live with Him for ever -- no more sorrow, no more sin -- only pure unadulterated joy -- because we will live ever in His presence and behold His face, and know that all the hardships we faced for His namesake are worth it -- because salvation is by Him alone, and all we endure in this life are nothing compared to the glory to be given us. Nothing we do in this life amounts to our salvation; Jesus alone is our Master, and our Lord, and our Saviour; He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life; yet it is a wonderful privilege that He allows us to lead a life for Him (no matter how difficult it sometimes seems)... There is truly nothing like the power of the gospel, the Bible (His precious, Holy Word!), and God -- nothing and no one at all like our Lord Jesus; who lives today, standing at the right hand of the Father -- the atoning work finished once and for all.

Take heart, dear friend! For our greatest Friend even lives and intercedes for us today! There is no joy like the joy and peace He gives.

God bless you.

Wow! What a reminder! And amen to it all!
To think the creator of heaven and earth not only knows about us, but loved us so much that he died and rose up again, it’s beyond comprehension. Sometimes I realise it all over again and I’m overwhelmed with pure joy.
Thank you so much for this and God Bless you too!

I too find myself realizing it over and over again; and isn't He wonderful? Pure joy -- that is the exact feeling! It's beyond words, and explanation, and only one who has known Him can understand what is meant when the attempt is made to put it into words... It's truly a joy, and comfort that can only be felt by (for it is the gift of) the Spirit. (How great are His blessings, and how precious are His thoughts to us! To think, that He -- Lord God Almighty (the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him!) -- would humble Himself to give so tenderly, carefully, thoughtfully to us -- we who were formed of the dust... How wonderful that He teaches us about Himself, and allows us to learn His ways and serve Him!)

Isn't it amazing that He works so intimately in our lives, and loves us, and never forsakes us? There isn't a name more sweet then Jesus. Nothing more precious then the gospel, and those words and promises given to us by God.

God bless!

«Isn't it amazing that He works so intimately in our lives, and loves us, and never forsakes us?»

I remember last year, I was going through a stressful period at school and I felt tired all the time. I sat down one night, ready to read a passage in the bible, and gave a simple prayer about how I felt and how much I wanted this period to be over. I ended it with something like “but thank you God for still being with me, even though I can’t feel You right now”, mostly as a reminder to myself that I still belonged to Him. Then I looked down at the passage I was going to read, which wasn’t chosen for any specific reason, and read the first part of 1. John chapter 3: “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!”
It was like He was confirming what I’d just said in a tired, half thought-through prayer. I could literally hear Him say it Himself: “that’s right! You are My child!”

The intimate ways He works in and around us, it really, truly is amazing!

That is wonderful! Thank you for sharing; I love hearing how the Lord works in others lives. (it helps remind me that we're all sinful, and full of infirmities, and all need Him so terribly; and it makes me realize that His mercy and kindnesses are greater then I sometimes think -- because He's there to comfort and strengthen all His children. How amazing He is! He cares for each of us so tenderly -- as if each one of us were an only child -- and yet the love He showers each individual with does not diminish the love He holds for another. It's beyond our comprehension; so great, so wonderful... His love is boundless towards His people!)

That sort of thing has happened to me before too (very often, in fact...); recently even. I was pretty down, and I ended up reading Isaiah chapter 35 (just where I happened to have left off reading in the said book!), and it was comforting. It happens more often then not, actually; it's God's word (which is what makes it so great), and He is able to make chapters, and verses stand out when we need it. His Spirit adds emphasis to the words (His own words!) -- makes them special, and personal; they are true strength, true sustenance -- and they have no end. One can never come to the bottom of the scriptures; they will get us through our entire life -- and that is absolutely amazing.

I. John is a very special book. It greatly comforts me when I read from it, much as the gospel of John, and Hebrews does. There is something so wonderful about them; it is the way that they speak of Christ. There is something so precious in them (though I could say that about the whole Bible, as each part becomes precious in its own time, as God makes it), and I find myself more in awe of our Saviour every day. All my life, I've been so enamored by stories (be it movies, books, games, etc) -- and now to find that the greatest one is real -- that Jesus is greater then every hero or protagonist ever invented, and He is real; He is God! I marvel constantly, considering Him... The more I learn, the more I realize just how ignorant I am; how foolish I've been. God truly is wonderful, and magnificent; His power is so great, and His wisdom is above our understanding...

The facts are beyond human conception. Jesus -- God, born into the flesh of a man -- who is the Lord of all Creation -- lived a humble, and lowly life without reputation, or great praise; He could've been hailed as the King He was (is) -- and yet -- He made Himself a servant, and loved/served/taught/healed poor miserable sinners (read Philippians chapter 2). He loved us even when we were yet in our sins; and to those last moments of His life, He lived perfectly, obediently, and endured the greatest sufferings on our accounts. To give us eternal life, and love of the Father -- He paid the price for our sins, calling them His own as He was justly punished by the Father; He was hated of men -- mocked, beaten, mistreated, left alone -- and yet He still prayed for their forgiveness. It makes me feel so terrible -- feel that wretched, selfish, sinful, foolish person that I am; to look upon the perfect picture of Christ, as told us in the Bible... It's really humbling, and makes me awe at God, His mercy, His grace; makes me love Christ more, and as Job said: "I have heard of thee by the ear, but now mine eye seeth thee. Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes." (Job 42:5-6)...

Isn't His mercy wonderful? His grace precious beyond measure? He truly deserves all glory, honer and praise...

IdleSans [2017-09-25 15:49:55 +0000 UTC]

Greetings! My name is IdleSans, and I am just randomly trying to spread the word to Undertale fans about an Undertale comic dub I'm doing of Zeragii 's Undertale Fancomic: DeeperDown. It's one of the longest Undertale comics I've come across, and I really wanted to do something special for it. We still have auditions open for 5 more days (unless people ask for an extension), and even if you are unable to audition thank you for your time, and have a wonderful day!

If you are interested or have questions, contact me by note or just send the audition to my email at: ssaenrsif@gmail.com
Unfortunately, this is not a paying thing, just for fun, but we've already got a lot of people on board, and are looking forward to see what we can do!

Awesome! I've read the comic and think it'll be great to have a dub of it.
I won't audition, but I'm wishing you luck with your work!

Thanks for joining the "Accept-Rodimus-Prime" group, btw. I usually try to say so to all those who joined, but have been busy as of late, and haven't gotten around to it. So, I say this encase I've never said so to you.

PS) I like your Transformer fanfic. You should submit it to the group! I think it'd fit well there. ^^
